A Lifelong Journey of Spirituality and Creativity
For nearly five decades, Sencha Skene has explored and shared the ancient wisdom of Paganism and Druidry. His journey began with a deep connection to nature-based spirituality. Growing up on a farm in rural South Carolina, Sench never felt at home in a church, but the woods were and still are sacred to him. In 1976 he discovered nature-centered spirituality through the works of Native American authors, and in 1978 he joined the Emerald Coast Grove in Pensacola, which evolved into a lifelong devotion to the Druidic traditions of reverence for the Earth, poetic insight, and sacred ritual.
As a musician, Sencha’s compositions are inspired by the rhythms of nature, mythological themes, and the timeless stories of the human spirit. His music blends traditional and contemporary elements, creating a unique soundscape that invites listeners into a world of harmony and introspection.
As an author, Sencha has penned works that delve into the philosophy, practices, and mysteries of Pagan and Druidic spirituality including Animal Wisdom for Druids, Foundational Druidry, and Pagan Mysticism. His writings are celebrated for their clarity, authenticity, and ability to make ancient wisdom accessible to modern readers with just a dash of humor.
